Wine Front Direct Hardware Philosophy
Every WFD hardware package is designed around the same principle: performance should never compromise design, and design should never compromise performance.
From welded structural components and concealed sealing systems to premium locking hardware and custom architectural pulls, each detail is selected to provide a finished system that is secure, durable, functional, and appropriate for a high-end wine environment.
Reach-In Hardware Package
Our standard Reach-In Hardware Set features a Metal Boutique 24″ Square Offset Pull Handle, precision-welded directly to the main door frame. This integrated construction eliminates the possibility of the handle loosening or failing over time, providing exceptional strength and long-term reliability.
Our patented steel barrel hinges are similarly welded directly to both the door and main frame, eliminating loose fasteners and minimizing the potential for hinge failure.
The system is completed with a Heavy-Duty, jamb-mounted cam lock and an integral lower weathered stop incorporated into the door frame. Together, these components create a factory-tested four-sided seal, providing a clean appearance while enhancing the enclosure’s performance.
Hardware Upgrades
Adams Rite eForce Keyless Entry
For either system, clients may upgrade by replacing the standard handle and lockset with an Adams Rite 3090-01 eForce Keyless Keypad Entry Lever.
This sleek, low-profile electronic lock provides keyless access while maintaining the clean architectural appearance of the Metal Boutique door. It adds a level of sophistication and functionality not typically associated with a wine display or wine cellar entry system.
Hydraulic Door Closer Hinge
Upgrade our standard welded barrel hinges to our Hydraulic Door Closer Hinge, featuring both automatic closing and hold-open functionality.
The hydraulic hinge provides controlled door operation and automatically returns the door to the closed position, adding another level of security and helping ensure that the enclosure consistently returns to a sealed position.
Custom Ladder Pulls
For clients looking to make a stronger architectural statement, Metal Boutique offers 48″, 60″, 84″, and 96″ custom ladder pulls.
These pulls can be manufactured in a variety of configurations, including locking pulls and custom finishes, with options ranging from architectural powder coats to antique patinas.
Custom ladder pulls allow the hardware to become an integral part of the design rather than simply a functional component, creating a distinctive appearance tailored to the architectural requirements of the project.
